Are you Blue?

These colors where launched in December 2013 and I'm still in love with them. Here are my makeovers on two clients using these wonderful blues. The best part was that both ladies had never even thought of trying the color blue. As you can see they are having fun with this!!! You can to!!!!

Winter Lips

 

Baby its cold outside!!! When our face is exposed to cold weather it tends to dry, get tight and sometimes peel. Which brings me to my next subject of choice "Lips".  Dry chapped lips are not cute. Keep Calm and Love your Skin

This is one of my favorite photos that i took with my cell phone. This photo is not photo shopped at all. My glowing skin (compliments of my mom and grandmother) is from drinking lots and lots of water.  So what are my tips:

1. Drink lots of water (of course)

2. Exfoliate every 2-3 days and don't forget to include your lips. ( you can also try TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set via www.marykay.com/beautydivany1

3. Remove your makeup every night (before you go to sleep)

4. Get at least 8 hours of rest.

These tips will give you glowing skin and help your foundation lay beautifully.

Natural Nails.........

 Are you taking good care of your nails????  Here are just a few at-home care tips to keep your nails in shape. Here are some Do's and Don'ts

 

 

1.Make sure you dry your hands and nails completely after washing hands. This prevents any bacteria or fungi from moving in under your nail plate.

 

2. Keep your nails(especially around the cuticle area) moisturized. After you have applied your hand cream/lotion, rub some into the cuticles too. Olive is also a nice treatment. I will make your nails stronger and protects them. you can do an oil soak at least once a week.

 

3.Keep your fingernails trim and filed regularly.

 





4. Do not abuse your nails with implements, to poke and pull on your skin.

5.Do Not Pull your Hang nails. They need to be carefully cut.

6.If you notice any color changes in your nail bed please consult a physician or dermatologist.

7. Do Not bite finger nails or remove the cuticle.

So What have I been up to?

 Good day everyone as stated previously I have been running my little day spa business inside a salon in queens. Here is a little look at my world. I am continuously adding little things to it. It's coming along nicely. Why Purple? This color has always been my favorite color since i was a child. It's just something about it that soothes my soul.

Lashes!!!!

My clients cant seem to get enough of these and neither can I.  These are called flare/cluster lashes. They are applied one by one on the lash line as close to the natural lash as you can get. They normally last 7-10 days. I DO NOT recommend pulling them off when a cluster falls out. They shed with your natural lash. If you can get to your lash specialist you can have the space filled in or removed.

Beautiful Surprise!

This was one of the best makeovers i was privileged to do in 2013.  As a surprise her boyfriend purchase a day at the salon for her. She had a facial and makeover by moi and her hair was slayed by Porscha Star. The photo on the left was right after her facial. Her skin was glowing!!! For her makeup: I used a cream eye color as a base called Beach Blonde, Hazelnut, Moonstone, Gold Coast and Coal on the outer lid. I used eyeliner in black and ultimate mascara. Well its been a long time........alot of things have changed since we last spoke :) . For the past  5 months i have been running my own business inside a salon in queens. This has been quite an experience....... its so different when it's your own, but I'm hanging in there. So I'm gonna give my blog another chance......again.
